This is beautifully handcrafted French mouth pelham horse bit. Part French mouth, part hinge. It has a 3/8″ Square Twisted Mouth with a loop lock on the backside of the mouthpiece. This lock stops the rearward movement at a nice mullen yet allows some vertical wobble as well as mouthpiece freedom. We also have several other types of French Mouth Bits.
