Using a Kineton Gag Noseband allows the rider to use less bit on a strong horse. Kineton Nosebands provide increased pressure on the nose as bit pressure increases. Furthermore these nosebands are also gag like, meaning as pressure on the bit increases as the bit rises, giving lift.
