Description

The large port on a Segunda bit is good for horses that get strong as they can't lean on the bit, nor get their tongue over it. Horses that have a narrow jaw or have a harder time laying their tongue down comfortably under a bit tend to do well in Segunda. The full-cheek cheekpieces can aid in steering.

This bit can be very strong and should be used in experienced hands or under the supervision of a trainer.
