So what will I be doing?
- You’ll be responsible for greeting customers as they come in
- Importing and fulfilling our online orders (this includes packing/shipping and putting in their tracking numbers into orders)
- Checking out customers and entering their sales orders
- Documenting incoming inventory
- Basic bookkeeping on our Accounts Receivable side
- Monitoring our FB page for messages and comments regarding orders and updating it as needed.
Why should I be interested in this role?
In this cross-functional role, you’ll be an integral part of the operations of our small business.
This role requires you to be on your feet and moving around for most of your day. Every day will have common components but will be a challenge. We want you to be able to take ownership over your duties and will provide training, but we do not want to have to micromanage you.
You will be going between our locations in San Juan Capistrano, CA and Del Mar, CA so you must have your own transportation and be okay making the commute (if you want a very rigid job, this isn’t it, we need someone who enjoys flexibility and change).

You’ll be working hand in hand with our CEO to keep our family business running like a well oiled machine. We are looking for a people person, with a strategic mind that can help us run our business better and create a more consistent and efficient customer experience. We really need someone that can take most of the operations/admin work of our business off the CEO so he can focus on scaling and bringing in more customers!

Don’t forget, we are a mobile business so we will need you to be able to travel to/with our mobile tack shop from your place of residence. We go between San Juan Capistrano Horse Park, Del Mar Racetrack, and Showpark (Del Mar). We do also travel to Burbank for two weeks and Coachella for 3 months during January, February, and March so you would need your own car but we will provide housing for the Burbank and Coachella trips.
