Loose Ring Snaffles
The loose ring is one of the more common snaffle cheeks and is considered to be good for sensitive contact. The mouthpiece of the loose ring bit is allowed to move freely on the rings and move independently with the jaw and tongue of the horse, while still maintaining even pressure on the bit. These bits encourage a relaxed jaw and mobile tongue, but sometimes the freedom of this bit can encourage too much play from the horse.
Equusport carries a complete selection of loose ring snaffle bits. We have a wide variety of mouthpieces, metals, and brands available. We carry only the top brands of loose ring snaffles that have been vetted for quality craftsmanship and function by our bitting experts.
